| Paul 'PR'
Ramkissoon, Chief Operations Officer |
| |
Paul acquired his "PR" (abbreviated)
nickname over the years thanks in large part to his entrepreneurial
spirit and his innate disposition to sales, marketing and public
relations. Paul is currently the managing partner and Chief
Operating Officer for Cynfyn Solutions, Inc. a well respected
design firm in the areas of internet solutions as well as traditional
print media. As such he is currently based in West Palm Beach,
Florida where Cynfyn Solutions, Inc. has been headquartered
since the company's inception in 2001. He also serves as President
and CEO for two other companies of which he is the founder,
MAQ Sports, Inc. & Consult PR, Inc.
MAQ Sports, Inc. was founded in 2002 to operate as a wholesale distributor of
cricket merchandise and is now considered one of the largest in the Americas.
Paul still plays the sport of cricket and is very passionate when asked about
the world's 3rd most popular sport. As President he is a frequent speaker and
is often engaged on issues regarding the development of the sport of cricket
in the Americas and the non Test playing countries. He often jokes about how
he learned the game of cricket before he learned to ride a bicycle.
Consult PR, Inc. founded in 2005 is a small consulting firm focusing on the areas
of tactical and strategic business planning, streamlining of business operations
and in some rare cases venture/ capital/ equity rounds of funding. Consult PR,
Inc. is highly selective in determining its clientele and generally looks to
be retained by no more than a handful of firms annually. While new, the company
is already successful and no doubt destined for a bright future thanks in large
part to PR.
Paul's employment background is quite varied, but the majority of his career
revolved around the banking and economic development. Over the course of several
years and several mergers, Paul was in the employ of Barnett Bank, NationsBank,
Bank of America, First Bank of Florida and Republic Security Bank. In terms of
economic development, Paul spent over five years in various capacities with the
Business Development Board of Palm Beach County (BDB). In his initial years at
the BDB, Paul met many CEO's from around the world as his role was to recruit
new businesses to Palm Beach County and toward the latter part of his career
he established strong ties to Palm Beach County business leaders in his role
as Director of Membership for the BDB. It was in his banking and economic development
background that the "PR" nickname, based on his initials and abilities, was coined.
It was also during this time that Paul had the opportunity to meet his newest
business partner, Curtis Fonger, with whom he will be launching a new company
in April 2006.
In saving the best for last, Paul is a devoted husband to his beloved wife Radha.
It will no doubt be interesting to see how he manages his many business interests
and inevitable foray into fatherhood. He is a trusted friend to many in the South
Florida community and is committed first to his faith and family life and then
to his business and volunteer/ philanthropic pursuits. For a detailed bio on
PR or to schedule/ confirm speaking engagements, please contact

Alexander Aguilar, Chief
Technology Officer |
| |
Alexander Aguilar founded Cynfyn Solutions
in 2000 with a vision of creating a web design/consulting firm
that would implement custom-built websites to provide core
functionality depending on clients' requirements. These websites
would be database-driven and could provide clients with an
easy way to update their website content, manage inventory
systems or interact with existing systems to streamline business
processes.
As CTO, Alex guides the firm's technology vision, software practices, application
development and application deployment. There is an adage that states "If
all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail" that reminds Alex
that there isn't one solution that fits all. As such, the firm does not favor
one particular technology over another but lets the client's requirements determine
the most adequate platform for their project. Cynfyn Solutions currently uses
Coldfusion, PHP and Ruby on Rails to build their custom database-driven websites.
Before founding Cynfyn, Alex worked for NASA, Siemens, an internet auction startup
and an e-business consulting firm. He graduated from the University of Central
Florida with a BS in Computer Engineering. and an MS in Software Engineering.
When not sitting in front of the computer he enjoys reading, traveling and strumming
a blues tune on his acoustic guitar. |
Mark Rossmore, Creative
Director |
| |
Mark Rossmore recently came aboard Cynfyn
as Creative Director and is thrilled to have a joined a team
of true professionals. For the past 4 years, Mark has run a
South Florida creative firm specializing in web and multimedia.
His experience and capabilities are now vital components of
Cynfyn Solutions, an already formidable creative enterprise.
In an industry that is constantly evolving and expanding, Mark chooses not to
confine himself to a single set of skills. While Flash and web design are definitely
his main focus, he has extensive working experience in a variety of other mediums,
such as multimedia, programming, video editing, music, sound design, photography,
and 3D modeling.
Mark earned a B.A. in Electronic Intermedia from New World School of the Arts,
though by the time they even began teaching web design he had already been working
in web development full-time for several years. The multimedia and web design
teachers would come to him for advice and help, even though the majority of his
skillset is self-taught. Experience is what
counts in this field, and he has plenty of it, having worked for several prominent
South Florida firms before venturing on his own. His portfolio includes work
for major universities and prominent local institutions, ranging from entire
college web sites to promotional videos.
Mark is currently studying for his private pilot's license. He is also involved
with several local area bands, playing numerous instruments such as bass, guitar,
and synthesizer. And - when time allows - he also works on 3D gaming projects. |
